Informational Privacy

Michael Scanlan is an Associate Professor in the Philosophy Department where he has taught since 1981. He has a Ph.D. in Philosophy from The State University of New York at Buffalo. His teaching and research are focused on logic and reasoning in various forms.

Besides teaching logic courses from the introductory to the advanced level he has also taught courses on Artificial Intelligence and Philosophy of Science and is currently designing new courses on Computers and Ethics and on Scientific Reasoning.
