CORVALLIS - Rob Specter, the vice president for finance and administration at Oregon State University, will leave this position and pursue other duties at the university, President Paul Risser said today.

Mark McCambridge, currently the assistant vice president for finance and administration, will assume the duties of the office on an interim basis, and a search will begin immediately to choose a permanent successor.

In his new assignment, Specter will assist the university in the redesign and restructuring of its administrative support services, officials said. Specter has been an OSU administrator since 1998.
